Another month of wonderful products, but not that many new ones sadly.

Naked 3 Palette

O.M.G.

This seriously is my new favourite. As in my absolute favourite beauty product at the moment. It is the most beautiful palette going and I have no bad things to say about it. Goes with every skin tone, you can create a look for every occasion and it is ROSE GOLD. I just love it more than life.

eBay Make Up Brushes

I think I heard Gabriella from YouTube talk about these brushes. It was something like £10 for the entire set and they are really great quality. Some of the smaller eye brushes are actually way too big for my eye sockets but you can make it work. They haven't shed on me and I especially love the tapered foundation brush!

Stila Stay All Day Eyeliner

I've been switching up my eyeliner recently and trying new liquid formulas out, but I just keep coming back to this one. This is just the ultimate liquid liner that I'll probably wear everyday for the rest of my life.

Body Shop Camomile Cleansing Oil

A very easy way to remove make up without damaging the skin. It leaves my skin so incredible soft and it's fragrance free so it's less irritating and doesn't leave a weird smell on your face before bed! I've tried MAC cleanse off oil and I think I prefer this one.

Tanya Burr Lip Gloss in Aurora

My perfect everyday gloss. Only recently I've started wearing lip gloss and now I love it. Tanya's glosses are so creamy and pigmented there was just no way I wasn't going to love them and this one is my favourite at the moment. You should definitely try them out!

Spotify

I've got Spotify Premium back since I had half off with my student discount card! And it has been just awesome to listen to anything whenever I want. I would highly recommend UniDays to students who want some savings they have some great deals including Spotify!

And that's everything I've been loving. Not much has stood out to me as you can probably tell but the Naked palette has seriously changed my life this month haha!

It's a stressful time of year for everyone. Off to university, starting a levels, knuckling down for GCSE's... A lot of people forget to take some time just for themselves (including myself!). I just sort of forget and then I get stressed and then I have a breakdown which is never cool. But I feel now, I am way for relaxed than I have ever been before. If you haven't read my post on stress and anxiety click here as it very much goes hand in hand with this post. I thought I'd share with you a few ways I like to relax o hopefully chill you all out a bit! :)

1. Yoga. In the morning it's great to sort of centre your mind and to really start your day peacefully. However, I love yoga in the evening way more because it's more about relaxation and just letting yourself go. A few times I've honestly felt so relaxed that I've fallen asleep on my mat. Whoops.

2. Face masks. Taking a 10 or 15 minute break out of a busy day just for you and a relaxing face mask can sometimes just really centre you and bring you back to reality. I always feel pampered after a face mask too, so it's win-win really.

3. Candles. There is something soothing about candles burning in the home. No matter what the scent, having candles around can always calm me (especially in the bath!).

4. Tea. Say the stress has become to much. You're a mess and crying and all sorts. For years and years, when I feel like this. I take long deep breathes and make myself a cup of tea. I would never lie to you, I instantly feel much better and much more grounded. It's like my safety net!

5. Music. Everybody loves music. And sometimes we need it to block out the rest of the world, to go into our own little space and think. This is the same with showers and baths too. I love too take some time out and just listen to music that makes me happy.

6. Exercise. It's proven to make you happier and less stressed because of the increase in endorphins released! I know it's not for everyone, but maybe just a little walk with some fresh air could do you good?

7. Sleep. So, so soooo important. Without a good, well rested sleep your body doesn't function correctly. You'll make more mistakes and be more grouchy than normal. Nobody wants that. Stay in bed as long as you can- I recommend it :P

8. Distraction. If you really are stressed and your anxiety is going crazy, distract yourself! Do something you enjoy! Watch YouTube, go out, read a book, make some dinner anything! Just take your mind off things for a bit. You may come back with a new perspective on things.

1. Get Netflix

It's first on the list because for me it was pretty important. A lot of time spent in uni revolved around Netflix and which films we were all going to watch. It was also a god send to have when you wake up hungover on a Sunday morning and all you can do really is just about switch your laptop on to watch an episode of Modern Family.

2. Music is a big responsibility

Especially in pre-drinks. Don't worry about it too much though, just remember that if you are in control of the music you are also in control of everyone else's mood before you go out. So just don't play You Raise Me Up before heading out and you'll be fine.

3. Don't be selfish

Don't make it all about you, remember now that you live with other people and you need to take into consideration the things they want to do etc. Also if you bake a cake, don't eat it all yourself- share it! You'll probably make friends really quickly...

4. Stock up on booze

Before you go, look out for deals on alcohol and buy them before freshers week. Obviously this doesn't just apply to alcohol, but it will probably work out better (money wise) so you can spend your student loan on other things!

5. Don't stress too much

You will make friends- I promise! I know everyone says this but honestly, if it's not your flatmates it's people on your course. If it's not people on your course it's people you meet on nights out. And don't worry about the work load too much in first year, as long as you pass then you'll get into second year!

6. Don't leave things until the last minute

Don't however, leave essays until the night before because that will stress you out. Because at the end of the day you do actually need to pass. Just start early, take your time to think about it and approach it in a calm, chilled, "I have loads of time to handle it" kind of way.

7. First impressions and expectations are not always met

Don't expect things. Don't judge people because you're probably wrong. Just let things play out the way their supposed to. I expected to be best friends with all my flatmates forever. Turns out we didn't get on and I ended up moving out and meeting new people who are just absolutely brilliant. Expect the unexpected I guess.

8. Join societies

Basically because you'll get to go out more and you'll meet loads of new people all interested in the same things as you. I sadly didn't join any in my first year and I really do feel like I've missed out but this year I'm planning on joining the Psychology society and maybe a performing club :)

9. Don't take other people's stuff

A pretty standard rule but you hear about it a lot in university. People eating other people's food without asking and using things that aren't theirs. I mean it's stealing and not cool so don't do it because people will not like you.

10. Let yourself go

Go do all the crazy stuff you want to do and really be yourself. This is a new fresh start for you to try new things and meet new people. Don't let it go to waste and make the new experience the best few years of your life.
